Jeffrey Baldwin, advisor to LIBRE Action – North Carolina, issued the following statement in support of Ted Budd:

“Latinos in North Carolina want leaders in Washington who will promote positive policy solutions to create more economic prosperity and expand access to quality health care, for all. Ted Budd is a leader who will rise to these challenges. He has been a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility and key deregulatory efforts. We need his continued leadership in Washington to get our economy back on track. We are excited to begin mobilizing our grassroots army of volunteers and activists to make sure Ted Budd is elected to the U.S. Senate for North Carolina.”

Grassroots Political Latino Organization Will Mobilize Colorado’s Growing Hispanic Community to Vote

PRESS RELEASE 07/13/2022
(Greeley, Colorado) –  Today, The LIBRE Initiative Action, a group committed to working with anyone to advance positive policies that promote the wellbeing of the Hispanic community, announced its support for Barbara Kirkmeyer – a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Colorado’s 8th congressional district.

According to reports, the recently re-drawn congressional district is roughly forty percent Hispanic and has a fairly even number of registered Republican and Democratic voters.

The Cook Political Report also recently rated this race as a toss-up.

Angel Merlos, Colorado’s advisor to LIBRE Action, issued the following statement when announcing the group’s support for Barbara Kirkmeyer

“Colorado’s Hispanic community is hurting. After months of overspending and overregulating, Washington’s destructive economic policies are battering Colorado families – including those living in Colorado’s 8th congressional district. Making ends meet and saving for the future is becoming incredibly difficult for many who are feeling the pain at the pump and coping with historically high inflation rates and stagnant wages.”

 Merlos continued:

“Barbara Kirkmeyer represents the bold change Colorado voters are looking for from the failed Washington policies. Barbara understands that the way to expand opportunity is NOT by growing the size of government, but by empowering individuals so that they are free to pursue opportunity and prosperity.

We are excited to hit the ground running and marshaling the full force of our army of grassroots volunteers and activists to help get Barbara elected to Congress.”
