(Austin, TX) – Today, The LIBRE Initiative Action announced its support of Janie Lopez, Dr. John Guerra, State Rep. John Lujan, and Mano DeAyala earned The LIBRE Initiative Action’s endorsement to serve in the Texas Legislature.
The LIBRE Initiative Action, is a group committed to working with anyone to advance positive policies that promote the wellbeing of Texas and the Hispanic community. Jorge Martinez, advisor to The LIBRE Initiative Action, issued the following statement when making the endorsement: “While other states are dramatically growing the size of government and raising taxes on job creators, Texas lawmakers have supported pro-growth economic policies to expand opportunity and prosperity for all – including The Lone Star State’s thriving Latino community. This is why so many people are moving to Texas – and we have state lawmakers like State Rep. John Lujan to thank. And after careful consideration, we are thrilled to announce our support for Janie Lopez, Dr. John Guerra and Mano DeAyala to join State Rep. Lujan and serve in the Texas Legislature. It’s clear that this fresh crop of candidates understand that the Texas Latino community thrives when there is educational and economic freedom. We look forward to mobilizing our volunteers and activists to help get the word out in the Texas Latino community in support of these candidates.”
