Electing Rick Scott Would Be A Win For Puerto Ricans Across Florida

Nelson has Failed to Engage with the Community

(Miami, FL)— Today, The LIBRE Initiative Action® released the following statement highlighting Governor Rick Scott’s work for the Puerto Rican community across Florida. Senator Bill Nelson has failed to be present and support real solutions which create economic growth and opportunity.

Wadi Gaitan, Spokesman for LIBRE Action, released the following statement:

When you ask Puerto Ricans across Florida who has been present in the community, and who works for their priorities, you don’t hear the name Bill Nelson. Rick Scott has constantly been active in the community fighting for solutions to the everyday challenges Hispanics face. Latinos deserves better than a politician like Bill Nelson who has continually been absent.”

Debate Shows: Nelson is Wrong for Latinos

(Miami, FL)— Today, The LIBRE Initiative Action® released the following statement following the Telemundo debate between Senator Bill Nelson and Governor Rick Scott.

Wadi Gaitan, Spokesman for LIBRE Action, released the following statement:

“Tonight’s debate showed that another six years of Bill Nelson would offer more of the same: apathy to the concerns of Latinos, and a costly and burdensome big government response to policy challenges. We know that when government stays out of the way and empowers individuals, Florida Latinos are able and ready to build a better future. Nelson has failed to lead on lowering taxes, stopping overspending, and fixing our healthcare system. Hispanics are tired of poor leadership and eager for a Senator who will deliver reforms that empower our community.”
