New Senate Majority Has Mandate To Advance  Pro-growth, Limited Govt. Policies

Voters have rejected the current leadership and their policies

Arlington, VA — (11/6/24) The LIBRE Initiative Action commends the new Senate majority, recognizing it as an important step toward a government that empowers individuals, protects freedoms, and champions limited government.

The LIBRE Initiative Action has long advocated for policies that allow individuals—particularly within the Latino community—to flourish without facing undue regulatory or bureaucratic burdens. This new majority signals a renewed commitment to a government that listens to and works for the people, aligning with the principles of freedom, opportunity, and self-reliance. With this shift, we are optimistic that the Senate will prioritize policies that encourage growth, innovation, and prosperity for all.

Daniel Garza, President of The LIBRE Initiative Action, issued the following statement:

“The shift in the Senate is a  rejection of the current leader from voters who are tired of policies that empower the government and not them. We are encouraged by the new Senate majority, as it signifies an opportunity to put power back in the hands of individuals and families. For too long, we’ve seen an increase in policies that increase wasteful spending and limit opportunities. At LIBRE, we are ready to work alongside those who support the principles of limited government, creating a landscape where people are empowered to succeed on their own terms. This is what America needs to thrive.”

LIBRE Action looks forward to continued efforts with like-minded Senators, we remain committed to working with leaders who prioritize a government that serves the people and advances liberty and opportunity for all.”

Background on The LIBRE Initiative Action

The LIBRE Initiative Action® is committed to supporting candidates who want to advance freedom-minded policies that promote the wellbeing and self-sufficiency of the Hispanic community and the nation. We believe candidates should stand for eliminating barriers to growth and innovation, trumpet educational achievement, protect the vulnerable, and encourage more participation of Latinos in our economy and communities. We believe that is the way to achieve the American Dream.

LIBRE Action was created to support those who champion these policies and to build the broad coalitions in Washington D.C. necessary to get them passed. Our vision is to build a movement of millions around policies that lead to a society of mutual benefit-where people succeed by helping others improve their lives and to break the internal and external barriers that prevent people from realizing their potential.
