Arlington, VA — (11/6/24) The LIBRE Initiative Action commends the new Senate majority, recognizing it as an important step toward a government that empowers individuals, protects freedoms, and champions limited government.  

The LIBRE Initiative Action has long advocated for policies that allow individuals—particularly within the Latino community—to flourish without facing undue regulatory or bureaucratic burdens. This new majority signals a renewed commitment to a government that listens to and works for the people, aligning with the principles of freedom, opportunity, and self-reliance. With this shift, we are optimistic that the Senate will prioritize policies that encourage growth, innovation, and prosperity for all.

McAllen, TX (10/5/24) – Today, The LIBRE Initiative Action-Texas (LIBRE Action-TX) congratulated U.S. Representative Monica De La Cruz on her reelection to Texas’ 15th Congressional District following the organizations’ months-long canvassing efforts that mobilized thousands of voters. 

In her first term, De La Cruz quickly became a champion for border security, by introducing legislation to prevent fentanyl trafficking. As a longtime small business owner who joined Congress halfway through the Biden-Harris administration, she saw firsthand the disastrous impact of their top-down economic planning. She got to work fighting for policies to improve outcomes for hardworking South Texans, especially in the agricultural and energy sectors.

Moreno marks a historic milestone as Ohio’s first Hispanic elected to the U.S. Senate 

Columbus, OH — The LIBRE Initiative Action proudly congratulates Senator-elect Bernie Moreno on his election to the U.S. Senate. Moreno has consistently demonstrated a commitment to supporting solutions that empower our community toward an American Dream rich in freedom, financial security, a good-paying job, and the ability to save for the future.  

LIBRE Action is proud to have engaged Latinos across the state through grassroots events, digital ads, mail, phone banking, and door-knocking. We are incredibly proud of all our volunteers who worked tirelessly to support Senator-elect Moreno.
